Dante Alexander Greene, known as Tae Zu, was born in El Paso,TX on August 3, 1989. He grew up very talented individual in multiple things finding passions in sports, drawing, poetry and more. His imagination, as one can tell, began to grow over the years. growing up on the eastside area of El Paso his influence in music came from a lot of different genres. Listening to everything under the sun from rock, blues, jazz, classical, opera, and funk just to name a few. He had his grandfather to thank for his wide view of music. Having spent alot of time with his grandfather as a child he got to listen to some of the classics in music like Earth Wind and Fire, Billie Holiday, Thelonious Monk, Beethoven and others. His favorite being blues, jazz, and classical(Orcistral Music) you would figure that he would do most thing in that particular area. yet even he wouldn't expect started performing in the church as a lot of artst do. Getting exposed to gospel music at the church he went to, not in the children's quire but men's, in the early 2000s. He then latter found an interest in hip hop listening to artist like Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, Wu-Tang Clan, Onix, Nas, Tech N9ne with others following latter on. He enjoyed the way the wittiness in poetry seemed to flow along with the grittiness of the music accompanying the artist as they expressed themselves through song. 
 This became a strong impressed of his starting to wright his own poetry on paper. Listening to the way his idols put the words together an making thoughts come to life through words fascinated him. it was around his first junior high years when he really took a heavy interest in his skill. Starting off in cyphers were others showed their skills were he found his home in hip hop to start. Latter on finding a battle between two rappers out of random. He soon became interested in battle rapping to test himself to see what he could really do. From parties to lunch time battles, to being asked to out of the blue by friends or random people that heard him before to say some rhymes became apart of him and his love for hip hop grew. Learning more about the culture of hip hop as he grew, how it came to be and the other arts in it as well. He loved hip hop with every day he could show his involvement by showing his skill.

   In 2009, year after his graduation from high school, while in college he met a man that was apart of an independent recording label out of his home town of El Paso, Tx. Latter while listing to the cd he thought to himself, why not do this for a living like all his idols. Like any other person egger to get his carrier started he found what he needed, recorded his first demo sent it in and begain his journey. He was with this group for three years learning how to perfect his craft among making instrumentals and the basic of mixing and mastering. In the year of 2013 he branched off released his first solo project in El Paso call Two Sides To One Half. This gave the first view of who Tae Zu was in the world giving a small look at the world of the artist. This project also followed with live performances at local events all over the city of El Paso from the Alumi Loung, Frankies, and Thursty's just to name a few. He also sold his own music by hand and eventually selling 100+ copy's just of this project alone providing income with his music himself. Allowing him to fund his projects to and at this time as well he began to produce other artist, providing the instrumentals for them as well for four projects. gaining a bit of success with the first project he latter released his second project Let Loose the following year of 2014. This project showed the versatility in different styles of beats an showed a little more of a personal yet darker view of Tae Zu giving the people another side that most wouldn't have seen. The project gave him time to work on something new as he was given more opportunities in the city to preform and sell his music. When 2015 came in he released a maxi single to his first album called Not Enough Time, this project was released early 2015 and has been still ranging in the 160+ sold by hand along. One of the most popular CDs Tae Zu has incorporated fresh styles of a mix of old school hip hop and new school hip hop that gives an edgy feel along with a mix of different looks at his development. when this project was released he was mentioned in multiple blogs and hip hop news sites about the artist on soundcloud by Justin Finkelstein (soundcloud.com/justin-finkelstein/tae-zu-and-getting-the-fire-to), Da HipHop Place March 23 2015 (dahiphopplace.com/all-the-sides-of-tae-zu) and Desert Heat (www.dersertheat.biz/tae-zu-d-o-n-e). also giving him the opportunity to be apart of a live video cypher titled 915 Cypher June 28th 2015 (https://youtu.be/xFcHIZ-hAeO).

 Following the release of the project Not Enough Time in 2015 came The Descent his first album showcasing more of the unpredictable skills that Tae Zu has to offer. Gaining more notoriety with his music with the experimental sounds that expressed more of his lyrical skills. Allowing him to expand his music to the closer areas of the southwest surrounding his home town of El Paso, TX. Being able to preform along side King Magnetic, Cali Agents, Jus Allah, Luck & Lana, Kap Kallous and Sahtyre just to name a few. He has throughout his carrier as an artist shown that he can push to achieve his goals. The COMPLEX RETALIATION project released in 2016 shows the will power and drive with high energy Tae Zu is known for. Giving that raw hitting edge of hip hop set to a tone that cant be compared. This project opened the doors to new experiences, artist, and a new understanding of his own music. Through this journey down the path that only time knows the outcome. Tae"s biggest goal is to reach as many people as he can with the message that you don't need to wait on anything. You are unique and are capable of anything. Controle your own destiny and look at the outcome.
